On Thursday, September 18, 2014, Texila American University held its second Blood Drive at the Goedverwagting Campus in collaboration with the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation Blood Bank.
The drive was a successful one with a total of twenty seven (27) donors among the student and staff body. This was a welcomed venture by the Blood Bank which sees group donations from other schools and business entities across the country.
The first blood donation was held last year at TAU’s Critchlow Labour College campus and there are plans for this to be a bi-annual event for the becoming doctors to set their foundation in humanitarianism.
The Management of Texila American University extends thanks to the GPHC Blood Bank and all donors and participants who made this a success.
